Construction Repairer – Plough Team

We’re looking for a motivated Construction Repairer to support the ongoing performance and expansion of critical infrastructure. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating machinery, and being part of a high-performing field team, this could be the role for you.

About the Role

As a Construction Repairer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and building network infrastructure to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with your Leading Operative (LO) and contribute to projects that keep the network running reliably


Key Responsibilities


Carry out works in line with certifications including AS4801, FSC, ISO9001, ISO14001, and relevant technical manuals


Support delivery of high-quality construction outcomes with zero rework and minimal disruption


Assist in ensuring network reliability, integrity, and customer satisfaction


Keep your LO informed of daily progress and site updates


Operate only machinery you are licensed and trained to use

Day-to-Day Duties


Operate machinery such as:


Dozers


Ploughs


Backhoes


Excavators


Rock saws


Perform manual labour tasks including:


Fence repairs


Marker post installation


Hauling, rodding, and roping


Cleaning and maintaining equipment


Conduct daily maintenance checks:


Pre-start inspections


Greasing and servicing


Refuelling


Support vehicle mobilisation (cars/trucks) in line with licence requirements

Safety First

Safety is at the core of everything we do. You will be expected to:


Operate only machinery you are licensed and trained to use


Wear correct uniform (long sleeves and pants at all times)


Use appropriate PPE (gloves, helmets, eye/ear protection, etc.)


Identify and report hazards immediately
